Vero Beach’s OcuCue LLC Announces Management Team and New Blog

Posted on June 4th, 2010

VERO BEACH, FL., June 4, 2010 – One of Florida’s newest technical start-ups, the visual analytic network monitoring solution company OcuCue LLC, recently named its leadership team and launched a blog, announced Stuart C. Woodward, president of OcuCue.

“We are thrilled to have formed such a team of experienced, talented individuals at our Vero Beach headquarters,” said Stuart C. Woodward, president of OcuCue. “Employees are the foundation of a company, and with this team I am confidant OcuCue is structured for success.”

Russ Grant was named Director of Technology for OcuCue. With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, Grant knows the frustrations that IP network engineers face when they spend too much time drilling and troubleshooting. Prior to OcuCue, Grant was account manager with SITA, the world’s leading service provider of IT business solutions and communication services to the air transport industry. Earlier he managed American Airlines’ second largest network operations center. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT Technical Institute, is a Cisco Certified Network Associate, a certified Novel Engineer and a Microsoft certified Systems Engineer.

Barbara Cassidy has been named Director of Sales for OcuCue. Before joining OcuCue, Cassidy worked in various sales and consulting roles with SouthStar Development Partners in Vero Beach, and Votar Corporation, The Yankee Group, Telsource Corporation and AT&T in Virginia and Maryland. She holds a MBA from George Washington University, a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia, and is a CMSP (Certified Managed Services Professional).

Samuel Schultz, an Orlando native, is a Sales Engineer at OcuCue. He spent four years as an IT Technician with Sea World of Florida in Orlando and is a CMSP. Schultz has worked in various customer service roles with Service Master and Elavon in Knoxville.

Erik Penfield, CSMP, held technical management positions with Green Atom, Data Intensity and Oracle before joining OcuCue as an Account Manager. Prior to building his technical expertise, Penfield worked as a chemist at St. Louis Testing Labs, Ethyl Corporation, Chemir and Quanterra. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and German Studies from Principia College, along with a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.

Sean Coakley has joined OcuCue to oversee Global Business Development after working four years with Spectorsoft in Vero Beach in International Business and Channel Development. Coakley’s background also includes positions with MicroWarehouse/CDW and Veritas Credit Corporation in Connecticut. Coakley holds a BS from Southern Connecticut State University.

As the sales agency for VisualCue Technologies’ solution in the IP networking space, and an accredited MSP Alliance vendor, OcuCue LLC brings this new network monitoring system based on visual analytics to the global market. OcuCue delivers an approach to data comprehension that enables the human eye to quickly scan detailed information to extract status, relationships and trends, all with little or no training.

OcuCue’s customized network monitoring solutions are designed to address companies’ specific monitoring needs. With icons customized for each client, the client sets the parameters of what data and systems to monitor – there are no canned reports or queries for which analysts have to settle. The customizable icon changes as status changes, and enables engineers to resolve system issues in a much more timely manner. It speeds up work processes, and is a powerful, affordable IT management software solution.
